Autumn colour

Just a few pics from the garden this week in all it's autumn colour.
Fairy toadstools hiding under the lavender.

Grevilleas

It was a bit windy while I was taking the photos but this lassiandra is the most stunning purple!
and this is Acacia Lime Magik which is a lot more lime in real life with the most graceful weeping foliage.

Happy Mother's Day

To all the Mum's out there I hope you had a lovely day and were very spoilt!

I had a lovely lunch with my Mother in law and then tea with my Mum neither of which I had to cook.
Hope you had a lovely day too!

Arrgh!

Blogger has changed, I don't know where anything is anymore and really this post is mainly to find out if I can still post!
I have some new patterns coming out this week they will all be at Mrs Martins just as soon as I can get them there.
Well that proves I still have no control over which way round photos are put on the blog I still cant turn them!

That's the right way round! Now how did I do that?
And this one is Stonehouse Mill, which is now finished with a couple of borders but the photos have gone AWOL so this will have to do for time being.

Cheers

Winding Ways

Karen over at Mrs Martins is starting the big countdown to the winding ways shop hop. The best thing about this you have a whole month to get around the shops involved. So you can pack a car with friends and take off for the day or work your way through them one or two shops a week, a great alternative for those of us on a budget!
8 Days to go!
Enjoy!

New York New York

Yep I've finally got two blocks made and they're not as hard as they look. They do take some time, but the results are good.... so far.
Block 0 the practice block
Week 2 block which I think is block 5 and I've been preparing for the next block, however someone else thought they might help me.
Cheers

Congratulations Karen!

The Monbulk Quilt Show was a big success yet again.Lots of preparation and hard work but a what a wonderful day it was. I didn't even get a chance to see the quilts or to peruse the plant stall outside. I was busy chatting to lots of lovely quilters, one pair of ladies were meeting up at the show, one from Horsham way and one from Woodonga!
Everyone was impressed with the two Dear Jane quilts on show and why not, what an achievement! Karen has a intro class and ongoing sewing circle for those who have succumbed to the Jane phenomenon. I'm still trying to resist!
Enjoy!
